My favorite poet, Robert Frost, wrote a poem that has been my favorite since high school "The Road not taken" which tells of crossroads in life and how we choose a path which leads to another crossroad and so on and so on. We always wonder "what if I had chosen the other path. Where would I be now?" I will never know. But I believe that each choice carried me down an inevitable path in the direction I was meant to go. There could be no other way. This is my path.

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood

And sorry I could not travel both

And being one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth

Then took the other, as just as fair

And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black

Oh, I kept the first for another day

Yet knowing how way leads on to way

I doubted if I would ever come back

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence

Two roads diverged in a wood and I

I took the one less traveled by

And that has made all the difference."

אני מאמינה שכל מה שעשיתי וכל מה שקרה לי בחיים שלי הוביל אותי למקום הזה בזמן הזה. מצאתי את הנישה שלי כדולה.

המשורר האהוב עלי, רוברט פרוסט, כתב שיר שמאז שהייתי בתיכון אהבתי מאד, ומאד התחברתי לשיר. השיר מדבר על פרשות דרכים בחיים ושכל פעם אנחנו בוחרים שביל או כיוון וזה מוביל אותנו לאן שהוא, לעוד פרשת דרכים וכ"ו וכ"ו.

תמיד אנחנו תוהים "מה היה קורה, איפה הייתי, אם הייתי בוחרת את הכיוון השני?"

לעולם לא נדע. אבל אני מאמינה שכל בחירה שלי לא הייתה מקרית והובילה אותי בדרך בלתי נמנעת למקום שהייתי מיועדת להגיע.

לא יכול להיות משהו אחר. זאת הדרך שלי, המקום שאני אמורה להיות.
